They are often made on multiple sheets of paper or paper cut from a roll and are designed to hang from nails or staples on a wall without framing. Subject matter has moved from the focus on trees to all aspects of contemporary rural life with the inclusion of a few trees. Some have subjects, some are just speculation or experimentation.
